Plans & billing
CrawlPod for Shopify is still in development and not yet available in the Shopify App Store. When it ships, billing will run through Shopify's own Billing API (required for Shopify apps — Shopify takes a revenue share on subscription charges), with a free tier and a paid tier. No prices are published yet, on purpose — see why below.
Current status
In development. Not yet released. There is no live listing, no checkout, and no way to install it today. The Shopify waitlist sends a confirmation now and a real notification — with real pricing — the moment it ships, not before.
Why no numbers yet
Publishing specific prices before the app exists would either lock in a number before real infrastructure and support costs are known, or become a promise that has to be walked back later. The shape is set — a free tier plus a paid tier, billed through Shopify's Billing API like any other Shopify app — the numbers aren't, and won't be until they're real. How billing will work
Shopify requires apps that charge for subscriptions to use its Billing API rather than a third-party processor — this is a platform requirement, not a CrawlPod choice. Shopify takes a percentage of subscription revenue in exchange for handling billing, trials, and proration directly inside the merchant's Shopify admin, the same way every other paid Shopify app is billed.
