CrawlPodScan your site

Can AI crawlers actually read your site?

This scanner checks your live URL against the same signals AI crawlers and agents use: robots.txt access, content readability without JavaScript, structured data, and accessibility-tree readiness. You get a scored report with a plain-language reason and fix for every check — no signup required.

Frequently asked questions

Is this free?

Yes. No signup is required to see your score and full report — an email is only ever offered afterward, to send you a copy.

What does it actually check?

Real checks against your live URL: robots.txt rules per AI crawler, whether the page serves the same content to a bot as to a browser, whether meaningful content is present without JavaScript, heading structure, structured data, meta tags, sitemap.xml, llms.txt, and accessibility-tree signals AI agents rely on.

How is the score calculated?

Each check has a published weight (shown on the results page). A pass earns full points, a warning earns half, a fail earns none. Checks that couldn't be determined are excluded from scoring entirely rather than penalized.

Will fixing everything guarantee my site gets cited by ChatGPT or other AI engines?

No. Nothing can guarantee that — AI engines choose what to cite based on factors outside any site's control. This scan checks what's within your control: crawler access, content readability, and structured data.

Is my data safe? Do you store the URLs people scan?

Scan results (the URL and the report) are stored so the results page can be shared via a link. No credentials or private data are accessed — only what's publicly reachable at the URL you provide.
